Her commitment to excellence is underscored by her international exposure as a UICC Fellow in the Netherlands from 1999 to 2003. Dr. Kardinah holds the title of Consultant in Breast and Gynecology Imaging since 2012, showcasing her dedication to specialized patient care. With an illustrious career, she served as the Head of the Radiology Department at Dharmais Cancer Hospital from 2006 to 2017, significantly contributing to the hospital's diagnostic capabilities. In leadership roles, Dr. Kardinah chaired the Indonesian Women Imaging Society from 2012 to 2020, demonstrating her commitment to advancing women's health. Currently, she serves as the Head of the Medical Committee at the National Cancer Center/Dharmais Cancer, further solidifying her impact on the medical community. Dr. Kardinah actively engages in scientific activities, co-authoring a short report published in the International Journal of Cancer in 2014. The report highlighted the limited effectiveness of screening mammography in addition to clinical breast examinations in rural Jakarta, Indonesia. Her dedication to breast cancer research is also evident through her ongoing contribution to the Global Breast Cancer Initiative Implementation Framework, focusing on enhancing services for early detection and management of breast cancer, with an anticipated publication in 2023. Dr. Kardinah continues to play a crucial role in advancing radiology and breast cancer management, combining a passion for patient care with a commitment to research excellence.
