Professor Amy Chow is the Head of Department and Professor with the Department of Social Work and Social Administration, The University of Hong Kong. She is the Director of the Jockey Club End-of-Life Community Care Project and the Master of New College of the University. With the background of registered social worker specialized in bereavement counseling, she is the founder of the first community based bereavement counseling centre in Hong Kong. She is also the Chairperson of the International Workgroup on Death, Dying and Bereavement and the former Secretary of the Association for Death Education and Counseling. Recently, she received the Association for Death Education and Counseling 2020 Research Recognition Award.

Professor Ava Kwong is Daniel C K Yu Professor in Breast Cancer Research and Clinical Professor of the Department of Surgery at The University of Hong Kong (HKU), Chief of Division of Breast Surgery at HKU, Queen Mary, Tung Wah and HKU-Shenzhen Hospital. Professor Kwong’s research interests focus on breast and ovarian cancer genetics, advanced surgical technologies and clinical trials in oncological treatment. She has authored chapters in textbooks and has over 280 peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals. She has received numerous grants and awards, including a commissioned grant from The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) to study the risk factors of breast cancer and this cooperated study has led to the establishment of the first subsidized risk based breast screening “Breast Cancer Screening Pilot Programme” in Hong Kong. In 2019, She was received Uccio Querci della Rovere Award of BASO~ The Association for Cancer Surgery in United Kingdom. In 2023, she was awarded the HKU Faculty Clinical Service Excellence Awards.Beyond her research, Professor Kwong is active in public and community services. She is the Founder and Chairperson of the Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry, a charitable organization. She is also a member of several committees including Cancer Coordinating Committee of the Health Bureau, The Government of HKSAR and Central Committee on Cancer Service of Hospital Authority, Hong Kong.

A/Prof Benita Tan is a Senior Consultant Breast Surgeon in the Department of General Surgery in Sengkang General Hospital, and the current Chairman of the Division of Surgery at Sengkang General Hospital. She is also a Senior Consultant at the Department of Breast Surgery, Singapore General Hospital and Division of Surgical Oncology in National Cancer Centre, Singapore. She sees, manages, and provides treatment recommendations and surgical expertise for a range of breast diseases, both benign and malignant.

Dr Yip is currently a consultant breast surgeon in Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care in Malaysia and is the lead clinician for the breast cancer research programme in Cancer Research Malaysia. Dr Yip was conferred Professor Emeritus by the University of Malaya in Oct 2016. She has over 250 publications in peer reviewed journals mainly on breast cancer in the Asian setting with an H index of over 40.

Dr. Erika Hamilton, M.D., is a board-certified medical oncologist and the Director of Breast Cancer and Gynecologic Cancer Research at Sarah Cannon Research Institute. She specializes in breast cancer and gynecologic cancer treatment and research. In her role, Dr. Hamilton oversees the research program and clinical trial menu for gynecologic and breast cancer from a medical oncology perspective.

Dr. Faye Lim is a Senior Radiation Oncologist at the National Cancer Centre Singapore who specializes in both Breast and Gastrointestinal Cancers. She trained at the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre and the University College London Hospitals in the United Kingdom. She has a special interest in the use and optimization of proton therapy and is the Clinical Lead for proton therapy in the treatment of breast cancer.

Prof. Frédérique Penault-Llorca, MD, PhD, graduated as a medical specialist in pathology in 1993 and in oncology in 1995. Also in 1995, she received a PhD from the Université d’Aix-Marseille II in cellular biology and microbiology, on the topic of HER2. Professor Penault-Llorca is currently professor of pathology at the University of Clermont-Ferrand, CEO of the Comprehensive Regional Cancer Institute Centre Jean PERRIN, Clermont-Ferrand, France, deputy director of the research team INSERM 1240 IMoST, and head of the Molecular Biology Plateform at Centre Jean Perrin. She is president of the Immuno- Oncology group at UNICANCER R&D. She is a member of several pathology and oncology societies, including the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the French Society of Pathology, Senologia, and the Study Group for Prognostic and Predictive Factors for Immunohistochemistry (GEFPICS), with her main areas of interest being female cancers. Professor Penault-Llorca has conducted various biomarkers-based research studies in breast, colorectal, gastric, and lung cancer in relation to response to targeted therapies and immunotherapies. She also acts as a coordinating pathologist for various oncology trials. Professor Penault-Llorca has written more than 400 peer-reviewed publications and several books on female cancers and pathologic testing methods and issues.

Dr. Deng is the Medical Director of the Bendheim Integrative Medicine Center at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) and a Professor of Clinical Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University in New York City. His professional expertise lies in using an integrative medicine approach to assist patients throughout the continuum of cancer prevention, treatment, and survivorship. This approach aims to build a patient’s physical and mental resilience, reduce symptoms during treatment, expedite recovery after treatment, lower recurrence risks, prevent further illnesses, and achieve optimal wellness. Dr. Deng has taken a leadership role in the emerging and evolving field of integrative oncology. Since 2003, he has built and currently directs a robust integrative medicine physician practice that is trusted and valued by his oncology colleagues at MSKCC. He is a past president of the Society for Integrative Oncology and serves as the principal investigator for federally funded research projects. Dr. Deng has developed educational programs and trained numerous physicians and researchers. He has authored integrative oncology clinical practice guidelines and numerous publications, including clinical trial data, reviews, and textbook chapters. Dr. Deng is frequently invited to lecture internationally to both professional and lay audiences, and to review clinical trial protocols, grant applications for the National Institutes of Health, and professional manuscripts. He also authored a cookbook for his patients, "The Wellness Principles: Cooking for a Healthy Life." Dr. Deng received his medical degree from Beijing Medical University in China and his Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Miami in Florida. He completed his residency at the University of Texas at Houston and served as an attending physician at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Dr. Burstein graduated from Harvard College before earning his MD at Harvard Medical School. He also received a PhD in cellular immunology and a master's degree in the history of science from Harvard. He trained in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital before his oncology fellowship at DFCI. In 1999, he joined the staff of DFCI and Brigham and Women's Hospital, where he is a clinician and clinical investigator in the Breast Oncology Center. Dr. Burstein is an internationally renowned breast cancer expert, who has led and participated in multiple clinical trials, and developed national and international breast cancer treatment guidelines. Recognized as one of the leading breast oncologists, he is a perennial "Top Doctor" in the US for breast cancer care. He teaches students, residents and fellows at Harvard Medical School and Dana-Farber.

Isabel Galiano is a Certified Nutrition & Health Coach specializing in breast cancer and a two-time survivor herself. Determined to turn her personal experience into a positive inspiration for others, Isabel aims to empower those affected by cancer to take an active role in their healing journey. Her coaching is empathetic and unique, combining first-hand knowledge with professional skills to provide holistic guidance on physical and emotional well-being. As a trained Functional Medicine Practitioner and a certified Yoga Therapy Instructor, Isabel offers a comprehensive approach to health and recovery. She is a proud member of the UK & International Health Coaches Association, the Society of Behavioural Health Singapore, and the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (UK).

Dr Jack Chan is a Consultant Medical Oncologist who practises at National Cancer Centre Singapore and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, subspecialising in breast and gynaecological cancers. Dr Chan is actively involved in early and late phase clinical trials for female cancers and medical education. He is the Principal Investigator of investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored trials.

Dr. Janice Tsang is a Specialist in Medical Oncology and Hon. Clinical Assistant Professor at Li Ka Sing Faculty of Medicine in The University of Hong Kong.

Dr Julie is a Consultant with the Department of Breast Surgery in both National Cancer Centre Singapore and Singapore General Hospital. Dr Julie's practice covers benign breast conditions, the diagnosis and surgical treatment of symptomatic and screen detected breast cancer. In addition, she has a keen interest in lactational medicine, and is an International Board certified Lactation Consultant. Dr Julie is a mother of 3 children and as a breast surgeon, she has managed patients who may suffer complications of breastfeeding, and she hopes to be able to help this group of patients as a lactation consultant. In addition, Dr Julie is leading a multi-disciplinary team in a quality improvement project to streamline treatment for lymphoedema, a complication of axillary dissection. This has been awarded the Surgery ACP grant in 2018.

Dr Karmen Wong is a medical oncologist with more than 30 years of clinical practice. She received her oncology training at the National University Hospital (NUH), National Cancer Centre, Singapore (NCC) and University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), who have a reputation for health sciences research and patient care under the HMDP scholarship.

Ms. Kathleen Wiley is the Director of Oncology Nursing Practice at Oncology Nursing Society.

Dr Kiley Loh is a medical oncologist specializing in breast cancers and cancer supportive and survivorship care at the Penang Adventist Hospital in Malaysia. Dr Loh graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2005, before undergoing medical oncology training with the Victorian Medical Oncology Training Program at several Melbourne-based hospitals, including the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. He joined National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) in 2014 after the completion of his training and went on to subspecialize in the field of breast cancers.

Advanced health care professional with over 14 years of experience in oncology, nursing, health policy, & hospital administration. International and national speaker on topics of cancer, nursing leadership, & health care coordination. Health care advocate with experience on Capitol Hill as well as leadership positions in professional and advocacy organizations.

Dr Lalit Krishna is a Senior Consultant at the Division of Supportive and Palliative Care, National Cancer Centre. He is also currently a Visiting Consultant at Bright Vision Hospital and Assisi Hospice. Dr Lalit Krishna also holds the appointments of Clinical Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School, and Clinical Senior Lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He is the chairman of the Clinical Ethics Committee and the Internal Audit Committee at NCCS. He is actively involved in teaching and continues to participate in medical, nursing and allied health education and is undertaking a PhD in Medical Education.

Dr Lee obtained her medical degrees from the National University of Singapore and the Royal College of Physicians, United Kingdom, and completed a fellowship in cancer genetics at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, USA. She is Senior Consultant in the Department of Haematology-Oncology, Associate Director of Research at the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS), and Professor and Senior Principal Investigator at the Cancer Science Institute, National University of Singapore. She is ex-Chairperson of the Chapter of Medical Oncologists, Academy of Medicine, Singapore, and was a member of the Singapore Ministry of Health Specialist Accreditation Board for Medical Oncology. She specializes in breast cancer and directs the Cancer Genetics program at NCIS. Her research focus is on breast cancer, pharmacogenetics and cancer genetics. She directs the Haematology-Oncology Research Group (HORG), a cancer clinical trials unit that supports ~200 phase I-III therapeutics clinical trials in solid tumors and haematological malignancies at NCIS. She is a National Medical Research Council Singapore (NMRC) Senior Clinician Scientist Award recipient, and has more than 240 peer-reviewed publications, including publications in Journal of Clinical Oncology, Annals of Oncology, British Journal of Cancer, Breast Cancer Research and Treatment, New England Journal of Medicine, Nature Genetics and Nature Medicine.

Dr Lester Leong is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at the Khoo Teck Pual Hospital in Singapore. He completed his specialty traineeship in Diagnostic Radiology in Singapore. His subspecialty interest is breast imaging, and he underwent a fellowship in breast imaging under the auspices of the SingHealth's Human Resource Development Program Scholarship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts, United States of America in 2010. He did another fellowship in breast imaging at the St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London, UK. He has special research interests in breast cancer screening, breast MRI imaging, ultrasound breast elastography, and imaging evaluation of axillary nodes.

Dr. Lim Sue Zann is a consultant in the Singhealth Duke-NUS Breast Centre. She graduated with honours from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya in 2008. She became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) and registered as a specialist in general surgery in 2017. She has also completed the Advanced Breast Surgery Fellowship Programme under Singhealth Duke-NUS Breast Centre and Department of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, Singapore General Hospital. This fellowship focuses on both oncological and reconstructive breast surgery. In 2022, she underwent surgical training in Asan Medical Center in South Korea focusing on minimally invasive breast surgery. In 2023, she also visited the Royal Marsden Hospital in London to learn new techniques on oncoplastic breast surgery. She is also actively involved in medical education. She received the Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence from Yong Loo Lin Medical School in 2013. She is also an adjunct assistant professor in DUKE-NUS Medical School. She was appointed as a Physician Faculty Member for SingHealth General Surgery Residency Program in 2018 and now a Core Faculty Member in this programme. She is also the Clinical Core Faculty Member for Post Graduate Year 1 Doctors in the Department of General Surgery Singapore General Hospital. Her research interests are mainly in de-escalation of axillary treatment in breast cancer patient, breast sarcoma and phyllodes tumours. Based on her work in the above topic, she was awarded the Singapore General Hospital Research Grant in 2016.

Dr Tan is a senior nurse clinician and an advanced practice nurse at National Cancer Centre Singapore. She has graduated as a registered nurse in 1992 and has obtained her specialty oncology certificate in 1996 from School of Nursing Singapore. She has received a Bachelor degree from University of Southern Queensland in 1997. She has a Master degree in Nursing from National University of Singapore in 2012 and a Master degree of Educational Management from University of Western Australia in 2003. She has completed a Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice at Duke University in 2017. Her research interests include quality of life, supportive care and education pedagogies for oncology patients with breast cancer who are going through cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Dr. Mabel Wong is a Senior Consultant and Head of the Breast and Gynaecology Department, Division of Medical Oncology at National Cancer Centre Singapore. She is also a Visiting Senior Consultant at the Breast Service, KK Hospital. She obtained her undergraduate medical degree from the National University of Singapore and underwent fellowship training at The Royal Marsden, United Kingdom.

Dr. Mastura Md. Yusof is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist and Head of the Cancer Centre at PICASO Hospital and Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, She leads the research unit at Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, overseeing numerous clinical trials in breast and lung cancer including fundamental trials that resulted in the approval of pembrolizumab in metastatic triple negative breast cancer. She is actively participating in international clinical trials in varied innovative therapies such as targeted therapies, PARP inhibitors, immunotherapies and antibody-drug conjugates and has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in national and international journals.

Dr. Mayang Permata is a radiation oncologist in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National General Hospital and a lecturer/teaching staff of Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia based in Jakarta, Indonesia. She obtained her PhD degree from the Heavy Ion Therapy Leading Programme, Gunma University, Maebashi, Japan where she participated in research focusing on radiation effects to PD-L1 expression in cancer cells. Her special interest apart from breast, thorax and pediatric cancer cases in the clinics include cancer immunology, cancer genomics, and health economics in radiation oncology.

Dr. Melanie Tan is a Senior Staff Nurse at National Cancer Centre, Singapore. Dr. Melanie decided to join the nursing profession to touch the lives of others and started working as a radiology nurse in the Oncologic Imaging Department at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS). was offered a nursing scholarship by NCCS after six years there and went on to take up an advanced diploma in Oncology Nursing in 2012. The course inspired her to become a breast care nurse within the institution.

Dr. Mok Chi Wei graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2010 and subsequently joined Singhealth General Surgery Residency Programme from 2012 to 2017 for his postgraduate training. He was accredited as a specialist in General Surgery in September 2017, with the Fellowship Examinations of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (General Surgery), before sub-specializing in breast surgery in particular breast cancer surgery. He is currently a Consultant in the Department of Surgery, Changi General Hospital, Singapore with a subspecialty interest in breast surgery. His clinical practice is mainly on breast diseases, both benign and malignant. He completed his advanced training in oncoplastic and minimally invasive (endoscopic & robotic) breast surgery as he believes that the appearance of the breast after cancer resection is extremely important, and that every patient should have a tailored and personalized surgical solution. To date, he is the first and only breast surgeon in Singapore and South East Asia to be fully trained in the full spectrum of minimally invasive (endoscopic and robotic) breast surgery.

Dr. Muhammad Azrif graduated from the Royal Free Hospital & University College London School of Medicine, London, UK in 1997. After completing his training in internal medicine and obtaining his MRCP (UK) in 2000, he entered the specialist training program in Clinical Oncology at the Christie Hospital, Manchester, UK. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (Clinical Oncology) in 2005 and attained his Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (UK) before admission to the UK General Medical Council Specialist Register in 2006. He was awarded a one-year Clinical Research Fellowship to the Department of Radiation Oncology, University of Toronto, Canada in mid-2006. He returned to Malaysia in 2007 and served at the National University of Malaysia Medical Centre (UKMMC) as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist for 5 years before joining private practice in 2012. He has served on various national oncology committees, published in peer-reviewed journals as well as participated in numerous clinical trials, cancer advisory boards, and expert panels.

Prof. Nirmala Bhoo-Pathy is a professor of epidemiology and public health in Universiti Malaya. She is also a board-certified public health physician and practices in University Malaya Medical Centre, Malaysia. Prof. Nirmala Bhoo Pathy graduated as a medical doctor from University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2001. Following completion of her master’s degree in public health with distinction in 2008, she was awarded a fellowship by the European Commission, under which she completed a master’s degree in clinical epidemiology with cum laude, followed by a PhD (cancer epidemiology) in University of Utrecht, Netherlands in 2011.

Dr Oey Chung Lie was born and bred as Indonesian and grew up in Semarang. She graduated from medical school of Diponegoro University in 1991. In pursuing her dream of becoming a surgeon, she was attached and eventually work in Department of Surgery, Singapore General Hospital. She obtained her Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCSEd) degree in 2004 and Master of Medicine in Surgery (MMed) Singapore in 2008. Since 2006 she has been working under National Cancer Centre Singapore, in which she is concentrating in Breast Surgery.

Peter Dubsky developed and heads the Tumour- and Breast Cancer Centre at the Hirslanden Klinik St. Anna in Lucerne, Switzerland. In 2023 he joined the faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine at the University of Lucerne. He is the founder of the “Network of Hirslanden Breast Cancer Centres (NHBCC)” and the “Lucerne Toolbox Consensus” which provides clinical guidance on local therapy options for breast cancer patients. In addition, he currently serves as the Vice President of the Breast Cancer group at SAKK (Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research). He received his MD and completed his surgical training at the Medical University of Vienna. After a post-doctoral fellowship in cancer immunology in the US and board certification in General and Visceral Surgery, he focused his clinical work and research on breast cancer. In addition to his ongoing work as a breast surgeon and clinical trialist, his active research interests focus on biomarkers in early breast cancer. He has served in several scientific committees of European oncology societies and recently joined the IBCSG scientific committee.

Dr Rebecca Dent is Senior Consultant in the Department of Medical Oncology, National Cancer Centre Singapore and is Chief of the Breast Medical Oncology Service. She is also an Associate Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School. Dr Dent’s primary research interest is in the field of breast cancer, focusing on locally advanced breast cancer and triple-negative/basal-like breast cancers. She is principal investigator for several clinical trials for the treatment of preoperative and advanced breast cancer, and is a steering committee member for a number of large international trials.

Prof. Roger Daniel Vaughan is the Director for the Centre for Quantitative Medicine (CQM) and Centre for Clinician Scientist Development (CCSD) and he is also the Associate Dean for the Office of Research at the Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore. Prior to that, he was the Director of Biostatistics at The Rockefeller University Hospital, and Professor at the Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences.

Clinical Assistant Prof Rose Fok is a family physician with special interest in oncology. She practises at the National Cancer Centre Singapore, caring for Breast & Gynae Cancer Survivors and runs a risk management clinic to opti-mise surveillance for mutation positive patients. She also practises at SingHealth Polyclinics (SHP), caring for patients with complex primary care conditions, and co-developing a community palliative care program.

Dr. Ryan Tan is a Consultant in the Division of Medical Oncology at National Cancer Centre Singapore. He is actively involved in Informatics research within the National Cancer Centre of Singapore (NCCS). Dr Tan completed his specialist training in Medical Oncology at NCCS, and is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.

Dr Samuel Ow is Senior Consultant Medical Oncologist and Clinical Director at the Department of Haematology-Oncology, National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS). His clinical and research interests are in Breast Cancer and Clinical Cancer Genetics. He sits on the committee for the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign at the institutional and national level, to help drive greater awareness for breast cancer screening and prevention in the general public.

Prof. Shaheenah Dawood is a Consultant medical oncologist and associate professor in clinical oncology in the United Arab Emirates. She trained in medical oncology at McGill University Hospitals in Canada and subspecialized in breast cancer management at MD Anderson Cancer Center. During her training she was awarded multiple scholar in training awards and ASCO merit awards. She has served as an editorial fellow at the New England Journal of medicine and has an MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health. She has over 100 papers to her credit including 50 peer review original articles, 30 review articles and 12 book chapters. She serves as a reviewer for multiple journals including the Journal of Clinical Oncology. She currently leads the oncology clinical trials program at Mediclinic City Hospital Dubai. She also serves as president of the UAE Cancer Congress that is held annually in Dubai and is co-president of the Asia pacific breast cancer summit (ABCS) and Asia pacific gastrointestinal cancer summit (APGCS). She has also recently launched the international BRCA forum and MENA immune-oncology summit.

Prof. Sung-Bae Kim is a professor at Asan Medical Center, University of Ulsan, Seoul, Korea. He attained MD and Ph.D. from Kyunghee Univerisity Medical School, completed clinical training in internal medicine at Ewha Womans University, and undertook a clinical fellowship at the Division of Hematology-Oncology at Asan Medical Center. He studied at the Experimental Transplantation and Immunology, National Cancer Institute, USA in 2000 as a postdoctoral fellow. He is a member of steering committees in international clinical trials. His research interests are tumor immunotherapy, molecular imaging, early drug development, and clinical management of head and neck cancer, esophageal cancer, and breast cancer. He has authored several book chapters and written over 370 articles in oncology peer-reviewed journals. He has been the principal investigator on a number of clinical trials. He is an author or co-author of high-impact journals. He is currently Head, Breast Cancer Center, Asan Medical Center, and has served as scientific co-chair, ESMO Breast 2021-2023.

Dr. Tari A. King is the Anne E. Dyson Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School, the chief of the Division of Breast Surgery and the vice chair of multidisciplinary oncology in the Department of Surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and the chief of breast surgery at Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center. She is also the director of the Breast Cancer Personalized Risk Assessment, Education and Prevention (B-PREP) Program at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. King received her medical degree from University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and completed a general surgery residency at Ochsner Clinic Foundation Hospital (now Ochsner Medical Center) in New Orleans. Dr. King completed both a surgical research fellowship and a breast surgery clinical fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Her clinical and research efforts focus on improving clinical management strategies for women at high risk of developing breast cancer with a special emphasis on lobular carcinoma in situ and atypical hyperplasia. Dr. King currently serves on the Steering Committee for the Translational Breast Cancer Research Consortium and is the Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee for the Society of Surgical Oncology.

Dr Tira Tan is a consultant medical oncologist at the National Cancer Centre Singapore with a clinical focus in the treatment of breast cancers and early phase drug development. Dr Tan chairs the pre-operative and young women’s breast cancer programs at NCCS and is the divisional deputy director of research as well as a primary and co-investigator on many early and late phase studies specifically in novel therapeutics and treatment strategies in triple negative breast cancer.

Clinical Associate Professor Veronique Tan is a Senior Consultant and Chief of Breast Surgery at National Cancer Centre Singapore and Singapore General Hospital. She also Heads the SingHealth Duke-NUS Breast Centre. As one of the few breast surgeons in Singapore formally trained in oncoplastic breast surgery, A/Prof Tan believes that the appearance of the breast after cancer resection is important, and that every patient should have a tailored, individualised surgical solution. She works within a dynamic multidisciplinary team to deliver precise, high quality and effective treatment. A/Prof Tan’s practice covers benign breast conditions, the diagnosis and surgical treatment of symptomatic and screen-detected breast cancer, oncoplastic breast surgery and breast reconstruction. Active in research and teaching, A/Prof Tan has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and contributed several book chapters on oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery.

Dr Wong Nan Soon is an oncologist practising at Gleneagles Hospital and Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, Singapore. His subspecialty interests are in breast cancer and gastrointestinal cancer. He completed his advanced specialty training in general medical oncology in 2003, and subsequently a clinical fellowship subspecializing in breast medical oncology in Sunnybrook and Women’s Health Science Centre in Canada, where he trained under world-renowned breast oncologists including Professor Kathleen Pritchard. He was promoted to the position of consultant in 2006 and subsequently rose to the position of senior consultant and chief of the breast team in the department of medical oncology at National Cancer Centre, Singapore

Dr. Yap is Senior Consultant in the Division of Medical Oncology at the National Cancer Centre Singapore, and Associate Professor at Duke-National University Singapore. A recipient of the Singapore National Medical Research Council (NMRC) Clinician Scientist Award (CSA), her research focuses primarily on clinical and translational research in breast cancer, including liquid biopsies and predictive biomarkers, development of novel therapeutic strategies, and epidemiologic studies on treatment outcomes in breast cancer. She is the principal investigator of several phase 1 to 3 clinical trials for various compounds, including CDK inhibitors, PI3K and mTOR inhibitors, selective estrogen receptor degraders, HER2-targeting agents and immunotherapy, in addition to investigator-initiated studies.

Dr Zhang Zewen is a Medical Oncologist in NCCS sub-specializing in Breast cancer and Gynecological cancer. He has a special interest in Cancer Genetics, and is part of the Cancer Genetics Service team involved in research related to hereditary cancer predisposition syndromes, including Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer and Lynch syndrome.
