Paul Mainwaring
Consultant Medical Oncologist

Paul’s aim is to deliver personalized, state-of-the-art therapies and holistic care to cancer patients and their family, incorporating the latest international clinical research and innovations in cancer care delivery. His initial Medical Oncology training was undertaken in Sydney at Royal Prince Alfred and Royal North Shore hospitals before moving to the Royal Marsden, London initially as Gynecologic Oncology Research Fellow then as Breast Cancer Research Fellow. At the same time Paul undertook an M.D. in Breast Cancer and cell death biology in the laboratory of Prof. Mitch Dowsett at the Institute of Cancer Research. He has been responsible for a solid tumor oncology research program that collaborates with basic laboratory researchers utilizing the latest genetic and pharmacology technologies applied to phase I (first in man) new cancer drug development.
